Hello! My name is Hollie Tillery. I am a Christian, wife, mother to three children and a teacher. My husband and I met while attending RES as children. We live in Randolph on a fruit and vegetable farm with our children: Addyline (11), Anabelle (9), and Levi (5). All three of my children will be attending RES this year. As a family, we spend a great deal of time outside. We spend a great deal of time working in our gardens and vineyards, playing baseball and softball and exploring God’s creation. We also spend a lot of time with our church family at Randolph Baptist Church.
I have a bachelor of science degree (B.S.) in Elementary Education from the University of Montevallo. I also have a master’s of education degree in Instructional Leadership from the University of Montevallo. I am currently pursuing a certificate as a Multisensory Language Education Therapist.
This is my 14th year of teaching and my 8th year of being a reading coach at RES. I have spent 13 of my 14 years at RES. I have taught 5th, 3rd, and 1st grades during my career. I love teaching reading and I love serving teachers and students. This summer I have been busy attending wonderful professional development that I can not wait to share with my teachers and students this year.
I believe that RES is one of the best kept secrets in the state. Our teachers provide a wonderful atmosphere that allows your child to be the greatest they can be. If you ever have any questions about reading, feel free to contact me at the school: 334-366-2897.
